The P2I High School League is a unique opportunity for high school students in Central Florida to learn improv skills and theory, and to put it into practice with regular performances. Students are empowered to not only set goals but to surpass them while being a part of a team. The P2I League provides the forum to succeed or fail in a safe environment that combines showmanship and sportsmanship. The League provides principles and lessons that go beyond stage to work in everyday situations. And the students just think they're having fun!
What is Power 2 Improv High School League? Have you ever seen the show "Whose Line is it Anyway?" Well you'll be learning how to play improv games like those. Students are trained in the art of improv and will be given the opportunity to perform in front of a live audience. The shows are family friendly and involve audience participation.
Students from participating schools will all be trained together, regardless of school. Once students have been trained and reached the performance level they have the option to be grouped by school and entered in to a multi-school tournament. Enrollment per school is 4-12 students. These teams will represent their school in a county wide completion. The winning school team will go on to the state completion. The tournament can be held at a school or library. Learning through laughter, friendship and school pride.
